CINCINNATI, July 8 (UPI) -- Ariana Grande was supposed to headline the MLB All-Star Game concert but has since been replaced by Demi Lovato.

Grande had to pull out of the concert because she had her wisdom teeth removed on Monday and will not be able to perform at the game in Cincinnati on July 14. She expressed how she felt after the procedure on Twitter and wrote, "peace out, final three wisdom teeth. been real. (i feel like [explicit])"

Lovato shared her excitement about nabbing the gig in a statement released by the Major Baseball League.

"I'm so excited to be headlining the MLB All-Star Concert," said Lovato in the statement obtained by E! News. "I hope my fans in Cincinnati are ready to get 'Cool for the Summer!'"

Tony Petitti, MLB's Chief Operating Officer, said, "Demi Lovato is one of today's best young artists and we know she will provide fans with a fantastic experience they won't soon forget. We're disappointed that Ariana Grande cannot partake in the All-Star festivities, but wish her a speedy recovery."

The new headliner just recently released her new hit, "Cool For The Summer" which she will perform at the sporting event.

On Sunday, Lovato took a tumble during a poolside concert in downtown LA, which was her first time singing the song live. She quickly got up and continued her performance like a professional.

Luckily there won't be any water around the 86th annual All-Star Game that could cause her to slip and fall once again.
