LOS ANGELES, July 1 (UPI) -- Julia Roberts is confirmed for the newest Garry Marshall project, Mother's Day, while Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson and Jason Sudeikis are in talks to join her.

Marshall's next holiday-themed flick will join the ranks of his others, including New Year's Eve and Valentine's Day, and will be directed from a script written by Anya Kochoff-Romano, Deadline reports. Production will begin in August, which is expected to push along negotiations faster than usual.

Mother's Day will tell the stories of the lives of several mothers as they cross each other's paths and is expected to be released just before the title's holiday next May. Roberts will be directed by Marshall once again after coming together for Pretty Woman, the 1990 film which propelled her career forward.

CAA represents Roberts, Aniston, Hudson and Sudeikis and will also represent the film's distribution rights in the U.S., says Deadline. Aniston appeared in Horrible Bosses 2, Cake, and She's Funny That Way in 2014. Hudson also performed in three films that year, including Good People, Wish I Was Here and Rock the Kasbah, featuring Bill Murray.

Sudeikis joined Aniston for Horrible Bosses 2 in 2014 and has already been featured in two films this year including Tumbledown and Sleeping With Other People.
