Though Cyrus launched the campaign on June 15, she shows no signs of stopping in her LGBT efforts. Recently she spoke with Time magazine about her efforts, saying: "Anyone should be able to express how they feel, without question, and be able to live."

Thanks, #HappyHippies for all the #InstaPride love and support! 💛💛💛 #Repost @music ・・・ “I think just how many different trans people I’ve had direct message me on Instagram and tell me their stories. It makes me want to continue to shoot more people all the time. I’ve always loved photography, but I didn’t want to take pictures of f---ing clothes. I really wanted to take pictures of people who are telling me something. Saying that these people really matter, my voice matters and I want to use it for something, it’s given me such a purpose.” –Miley Cyrus, on her trans portrait series and the #InstaPride movement she launched with @instagram to help bring awareness to gender issues.
