BROOKLINE, Mass., July 1 (UPI) -- Gisele Bundchen and husband Tom Brady may not be welcome at one of the nation's top country clubs.

The 34-year-old Brazilian supermodel and 37-year-old American NFL star have reportedly applied for membership at The Country Club in Brookline, Mass., but may be too conspicuous for the exclusive establishment.

"I don't know what they'll do about Brady," one Boston businessperson told The Boston Globe. "The Country Club believes your name should appear in the newspaper just two times: When you're born and when you die."

The famous couple often make headlines and are trailed by paparazzi, anathema to a club that prides itself on privacy and understatement. The institution was founded in 1882, and boasts a golf course ranked No. 19 on Golf Digest's list of the 100 best American courses.

Bundchen and Brady have been together since 2006, and married in Santa Monica, Calif., in 2009. The couple are parents to five-year-old son Benjamin and two-year-old daughter Vivian, in addition to Brady's seven-year-old son John, and celebrated Father's Day as a family in June.
