NEW YORK, July 1 (UPI) -- Chrissy Teigen shared a topless selfie Tuesday on Instagram. The 29-year-old model was on set with hairstylist John Ruggerio and makeup artist Mary Phillips for her Modern Luxury magazine photo shoot, and captioned the picture, "HAIR @jrugg8."

The post comes just one day after the photo sharing site removed a shot from Teigen's topless W magazine spread. The model attempted to work around Instagram's no-female-nipples policy by re-posting the picture with different filters, but failed.
Teigen tweeted the nipple "will be back" after the W photos were removed, but strategically covered up with a can of hairspray and her dressing gown in the selfie. Chelsea Handler and Miley Cyrus are among the other celebrities who have objected to the policy.
Teigen is known for her modeling work with Sports Illustrated and relationship with husband and singer John Legend. She and LL Cool J currently co-host Spike TV series Lip Sync Battle, which was renewed for a second season in April.
