Coleman tweeted, "When people don't like your hair but they tweetin bout you tho" in response to the her choice in hair. This isn't the first time the Disney Channel star has had to defend her hair.

Giuliana Rancic of E!'s Fashion Police criticized the dreadlocks the singer and actress wore to the Oscars, saying she looked like she smelled of "patchouli" or "weed" on the show.

Coleman responded, saying Rancic's comments" target="_blank"} were "offensive" and "disrespectful." Rancic eventually apologized for her comments on the show.

Despite the comments made about her hair, Coleman hasn't let it stop her and continues to wear what she wants to award shows.

Yes...I'm a tall 6'4"(with these heels) skinny glass of sparkling water and I love it. 😏😘😂#bodylove
