LOS ANGELES, June 26 (UPI) -- Sofia Vergara faced anti-abortion protestors at the Magic Mike XXL premiere Thursday. The 42-year-old actress encountered dozens of demonstrators picketing her intent for her two frozen embryos with ex-fiancé Nick Loeb. Vergara wants the embryos to remain frozen indefinitely, while protestors and Loeb hope to have them brought to life via surrogate.

The former couple froze the embryos during their relationship, but called off their engagement in May 2014. The pair reportedly twice-signed documents agreeing not to make unilateral decisions about the embryos, and have not yet resolved the dispute.
Vergara is currently engaged to Joe Manganiello, who portrays Big Dick Richie in the Magic Mike movies. The couple cuddled up at the premiere, and the actress earned laughs by stroking the 38-year-old actor's abs on his character poster.
Magic Mike XXL opens in theaters July 1, and stars Channing Tatum as the title character. Vergara currently portrays Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on ABC sitcom Modern Family, while Manganiello is also scheduled for Knight of Cups with Natalie Portman and Pee-wee's Big Holiday.
