LOS ANGELES, June 8 (UPI) -- For many celebrities, name-dropping products can be a lucrative side job. Just one upload or post can send thousands of consumers to a website or store while sending thousands of dollars to a star's bank account. Take Kylie Jenner for example.

The 18-year old reality star can be found on Instagram raving about Sparkling Whiteners, iPhone camera remotes and Nip + Fab anti-wrinkling products to her 25.8 million followers. But her recent Instagram post promoting the Cocoa Brown Tan self-tanner may be steering consumers in the opposite direction.
Jenner's photo illustrates the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star's fit body covered in the one-hour self-tanning product. But it looks like she may have overlooked a few spots. On her left leg in the photo, there are two areas that seem to be missing some color.
It looks like the young fashion designer is making a few adjustments to her tanning routine this summer in hopes of staying forever young. She recently told the Sunday Times' Style, "I'm scared of the day I turn 19... I really don't want to grow past 18."
