Kelli O'Hara, Michael Cerveris, 'Fun Home' win 2015 Tonys in musical categories

NEW YORK, June 7 (UPI) -- Fun Home won the Tony Award for Best Musical and The King and I scored the prize for Best Revival of a Musical in New York Sunday night.

Fun Home also picked up the honors for Best Direction of a Musical for Sam Gold, Best Lead Actor in a Musical for Michael Cerveris, Best Book and Best Original Score.

The King and I co-stars Kelli O'Hara and Ruthie Ann Miles earned the accolades for Best Lead Actress and Best Featured Actress in a Musical, while the show also won for Best Costume Design in a Musical.

An American in Paris garnered the awards for Best Lighting Design in a Musical, Best Scenic Design in a Musical, Best Choreography and Best Orchestrations.

Christian Borle was declared Best Featured Actor in a Musical for Something Rotten!
