MYRTLE BEACH, S.C., May 28 (UPI) -- Jenelle Evans is wanted for alleged domestic violence.

A warrant for the 23-year-old Teen Mom 2 star's arrest was issued following her reported attack on ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith early Wednesday.

Evans is said to have slapped, punched, clawed at and attempted to choke Griffith after showing up at his home. The reality star allegedly smelled like alcohol.

"For those asking, Jenelle was at Nathan's to pick up her son," she later retweeted from Jenelle Evans PR. "Nathan stole her phone & refused to hand over Kaiser. This is how it started."

Evans' lawyer, Amy S. Lawrence, told Us Weekly the reality star plans to turn herself in to police Thursday morning, and is scheduled for a bond hearing in the afternoon. Lawrence claimed Griffith was pressured by police into pressing charges against his ex-fiancée.

"He will do everything that he can to get these charges dismissed," the attorney said. "He understands that she's hurt because they've broken up, and he's dating somebody else and things escalated in a way they shouldn't have. But he does not want her to have any kind of criminal consequence for this."

Evans and Griffith were involved in a different domestic violence incident that led to Griffith's arrest in March. The former couple welcomed son Kaiser in June 2014, and Evans is also mother to son Jace with ex-boyfriend Andrew Lewis.
