LOS ANGELES, May 28 (UPI) -- Bobby Flay is not dating Giada De Laurentiis. Laurentiis' rep asserted as much in a statement to E! News after Radar Online reported Flay and the 44-year-old celebrity chef were spotted holding hands on a date in an article published this week.

"Back in December, Giada had dinner at Bellato with her agent," the rep said. "Bobby Flay was also having dinner with some friends and dropped by Giada's table to say hi. They did not have dinner, nor was there any touching going on."
Flay and De Laurentiis are in the midst of divorcing their respective spouses, actress Stephanie March and designer Todd Thompson. De Laurentiis denied she cheated on her husband with Flay, singer John Mayer and Today anchor Matt Lauer in January.
The dating rumors come amid renewed reports Flay was involved with actress January Jones. A source told InTouch magazine March claimed her husband had sex with Jones "many times," in addition to having an affair with former assistant Elyse Tirrell.
Flay and De Laurentiis are both known for their work with the Food Network. The former has hosted such shows as Throwdown! with Bobby Flay and Worst Cooks in America, while De Laurentiis hosts Giada at Home and serves as a guest co-host on NBC program Today.
