'Mean Girls' mansion goes up for sale in Toronto

TORONTO, May 22 (UPI) -- The infamous Regina George's mansion from Mean Girls has gone up for sale, and the owners are asking for a hefty $14.8 million.

According to Sotheby's International Reality, the 20,000-square-foot house sits on two pristine acres in Toronto and boasts 15 parking spaces. The estate's two-story floor plan also boasts 20-foot cathedral ceilings in its great room, an open-plan kitchen and breakfast room.

When Lindsay Lohan's character, Cady, told mean girl Regina, "Wow, you're house is really nice!" she wasn't kidding. The home holds 11 rooms, 12 full bathrooms and two half bathrooms with heated floors included.

Other amenities include a spa, wine cellar, guest house, private elevator and more than three fireplaces. Additional taxes on the property sum up to over $66,000.

The grand mansion has served as a temporary to several stars working in the city. According to Global News Canada, William Shatner shot a commercial in the foyer and Martha Stewart did a cooking segment in its kitchen, which brags of Poggenpohl cabinetry and quartz counter tops.
