SILVER SPRING, Md., May 22 (UPI) -- "Mama" June Shannon of the canceled show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo is threatening to sue TLC if the network chooses to keep 19 Kids and Counting on the air.

Shannon told TMZ that the network can't justify holding onto the Duggars when they kicked Honey Boo Boo off the air in the matter of hours for her apparent rendezvous with a known child molester who abused her eldest daughter.

19 Kids star Josh Duggar admitted to molesting five minor girls -- including some of his sisters -- when he was 14 years old, yet the show still aired as scheduled Thursday and no comments about its future have been made by the network. The father of three apologized and resigned from his position as a lobbyist for the Family Research Council in the wake of heightened media attention.

"I read that the Duggar family said, this happening with their son brought them closer to God and each other," Mama June said. "So they're saying it's OK to have family touch time? Hell no."
