NEW YORK, May 6 (UPI) -- Kim Kardashian was slammed by anti-fur activists at a New York City book signing on Tuesday.

During an appearance for her new selfie book, Selfish, activists posed as fans and confronted the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star about her wardrobe decisions.

A fan posted a video from the Barnes and Nobles signing and showed how Kim reacted to the protesters remarks.

"I just want to say that you're the most disgusting human being on this planet!" someone yelled from the sidelines.

Although the star wasn't donning a fur ensemble at the event, another activist can be heard saying, "Can you make it out to all the animals that have been tortured?"

Kardashian just smiled and continued to sign the books for fans who waited to meet the business mogul.

This is not the first event Kanye West's wife was faced with animal loving protestors. In 2012, she was flour bombed by a woman on the red carpet and similarly brushed the incident off.
