Hailey Baldwin debuts brunette hair at 2015 Met Gala

NEW YORK, May 5 (UPI) -- Hailey Baldwin surprised fans by debuting a dramatic new look at the 2015 Met Gala on Monday.

The 18-year-old model dyed her hair brunette ahead of the annual fundraising event, and showed off the style in a simple ponytail. Baldwin previously had blonde hair with darker roots.

Stephen and Kennya Baldwin's younger daughter walked the red carpet in a custom Topshop dress with embroidered detail. The teenager, actress Dakota Johnson and model Miranda Kerr were among the few to wear mini-length styles to the ball.

Baldwin holds contracts with Ford Models and Storm Model Management, and has posed for Miss Vogue U.K. and Jalouse magazine. In addition, she is known for her friendships with pop star Justin Bieber and fellow model Kendall Jenner.
