NEW YORK, April 28 (UPI) -- Actor Michael Cera will go on tour with musician Alden Penner this summer, bass guitar in-hand.
The 26-year-old Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World star partnered with Alden Penner of The Unicorns to launch a new EP entitled Canada in Space which debuts June 29.
Cera isn't new to music; he released his very own digital album, True That, last year via Bandcamp.
Penner and Cera worked previously on a track called "Meditate" last year, a remixed version of which will be on the new EP.
According to Penner, Canada in Space is representative of the country's sense of whimsy. He said in a press release:
"There are more Canadians than any other nationality represented in the planned Mars colony. The Canada in Space EP is an imagining of the dreams, reveries, phantasms, hallucinations, psycho-spiritual projections, naïve mythologies, actions, visions and experiences of an abandoned crew before, during and after its permanent journey to Mars; the compression of time; dispersion, fragmentation of states and generations in space; ultimate detachment and wormholes."
The duo's European tour consists of ten dates in the following cities:

24-Jun UK Bristol - Exchange
25-Jun UK Manchester - Gullivers
