Kristin Chenoweth and Alan Cumming to host the 2015 Tony Awards ceremony

NEW YORK, April 28 (UPI) -- Stage and screen stars Kristin Chenoweth and Alan Cumming are to co-host this year's Tony Awards ceremony in New York.

The announcement was made Tuesday morning by Mary-Louise Parker and Bruce Willis, who also read the names of the 2015 Tony nominees via webcast.

The prize presentation honoring excellence in Broadway theater is to air on CBS June 7.

Chenoweth won a Tony for her work in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, but is best known for her iconic role of Glinda in the musical Wicked. She is a current Tony nominee for her performance in On the Twentieth Century. Cumming recently reprised his Tony Award-winning role of the Emcee in Cabaret.
