LOS ANGELES, April 27 (UPI) -- Orange Is the New Black fans have a reason to get excited! The third season of the Netflix series will premiere on June 12.

Season three's trailer, which was released earlier this month, shows that this season, fan-favorties like Piper (Taylor Schilling), Daya (Dascha Polanco), Alex (Laura Prepon), Crazy Eyes (Uzo Aduba), Red (Kate Mulgrew), Sophia (Laverne Cox), Big Boo (Lea Delaria) and Morello (Yael Stone) are back to cause some trouble at Litchfield Penitentiary.

The show's creator, Jenji Kohan, caught up with Time, and although she didn't spare too many details about the upcoming season, she did mention that she'll be introducing a new character inspired by Martha Stewart.

As for the religion-inspired promotional posters, Laverne Cox told E! News, "It's gonna be intense, Jenji [Kohan] was really interested in faith and what we believe in as a theme for this third season, so there's a lot of that permeates...Sophia may or may not get in some major conflict with another prisoner."

Season four has already been reported by Variety, to be released in 2016.
