Kim Richards checks into rehab, following Beverly Hills Hotel arrest

LOS ANGELES, April 26 (UPI) -- Reality television personality Kim Richards has checked into a live-in facility in Malibu to undergo treatment for substance abuse.

TMZ reported the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star decided to seek help last week after consulting with her family and is committed to staying at the facility for "as long as it takes" to get her problem under control.

Richards was arrested this month after an incident at the Beverly Hills Hotel. She was booked for trespass, resisting arrest, battery on a police officer, and public drunkenness.
