NEW YORK, April 24 (UPI) -- Chrissy Teigen says she will never Photoshop her social media pictures again.

The 29-year-old model declared as much in an interview with The Meredith Vieira Show on Friday. Teigen made headlines for sharing a photo of her stretch marks earlier this month, and told Vieira she thinks excessive editing has set unhealthy body standards.

"I have those apps, those Facetunes, those Photoshopping ones, and I just didn't feel like doing it anymore," she said of why she posted the picture. "And I'm never doing it again, because I think we forgot what normal people look like now. The standard is so ridiculous."

"It's gotten to the point where they're not smoothing their skin anymore, they're actually changing the shape of their body," she related. "Nobody can compare to that when you're fixing yourself so much. It's so unfair."

Teigen is known for her modeling work for Sports Illustrated and her relationship with singer John Legend, whom she married in September 2013. She also co-hosts new Spike series Lip Synch Battle, which was renewed for a second season this week.
