LONDON, April 12 (UPI) -- Judi Dench and Kevin Spacey paused to take a selfie at Sunday's Olivier Awards ceremony honoring excellence in London theater.

The moment backstage at the Royal Opera House was captured by event organizers and posted on Twitter.

Dench had earlier presented Spacey with a special award in recognition of his tenure as artistic director at The Old Vic Theatre and for his contribution to the London stage.

"My life changed as a result of the people I had a chance to work with every single day at that theatre," Spacey said. "Because I'm a little crazy, I'm going to do a song, that to me, has everything to do with the Old Vic."

The American House of Cards star and British soul singer Beverley Knight then performed the song "Bridge Over Troubled Water" with the full Oliviers Orchestra and the 90-strong Arts Educational Choir under musical director Larry Blank.
