Destiny's Child gives surprise performance at Stellar Gospel Music Awards

The former band mates made a surprise appearance at the awards show, where they performed the song "Say Yes," from Michelle Williams' new album

LAS VEGAS, March 30 (UPI) -- Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams of Destiny's Child reunited Sunday in Las Vegas for the Stellar Gospel Music Awards.

The former band mates made a surprise appearance at the awards show, where they performed the song "Say Yes," from Williams' new album, in matching white blazers and jeans. Williams, 34, was slated to sing at the event, and kicked off her act solo before she was joined onstage by Rowland, 34, and Knowles, 33.

"Say Yes" was nominated for three awards at the ceremony: Urban/Inspiration Single of the Year, Music Video of the Year and Song of the Year. The track was the third song from Williams' fourth studio album Journey to Freedom.

Destiny's Child reunited for the last time in 2013 when Beyonce performed at the Super Bowl Halftime show.
