January Jones goes topless for Violet Grey

LOS ANGELES, March 27 (UPI) -- January Jones recently posed topless for Violet Grey.

The 37-year-old actress stripped down as one of six different looks for the digital magazine, with only her long, blonde hair to protect her modesty.

"We wanted to do an elevated take on before-and-after photos and explore the idea that a lot women, myself included, feel less vulnerable once they're dressed and have their makeup on," the Mad Men star explained in the article.

Jones told the publication having no makeup on makes her feel "sexy and vulnerable." The actress revealed she was at her most confident as a child, and started to feel insecure once she reached high school and became "quote-unquote pretty."

Jones will return as Betty Draper Francis on the final season of Mad Men come April 5. The actress wore a black and red dress to the AMC series' Black & Red Ball premiere this week, while co-star Christina Hendricks stunned in an emerald-green detachable gown.
