Bella Thorne addresses relationship with Brandon Lee

NEW YORK, March 27 (UPI) -- Bella Thorne says rumored boyfriend Brandon Lee is really sweet.

The 17-year-old actress opened up about the 18-year-old son of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee in an interview with The View on Thursday.

News of Thorne and Lee's relationship broke this week, and the former Disney star had nothing but praise for her beau and Anderson.

"Brandon and I reconnected recently," she told host Nicolle Wallace and guest host Alicia Menendez. "We met during a breakup with my ex, and he's really sweet. His mom is so down to earth -- so cool. She's really raised two beautiful boys."

Thorne previously dated Tristan Klier for two years before breaking up in August 2014. Lee re-entered the spotlight earlier this month by accompanying Anderson to the Los Angeles premiere of The Gunman, and is older brother to 17-year-old Dylan Jagger Lee.

Thorne came to fame as Ruthy Spivey on NBC drama My Own Worst Enemy, and subsequently portrayed CeCe Jones on Disney sitcom Shake It Up. The actress is confirmed to appear on the debut episode of new MTV series Scream in July.
