SYDNEY, March 26 (UPI) -- British singer Ed Sheeran surprised a couple during their wedding day Wednesday and serenaded them with their wedding song of choice, his hit single, "Thinking Out Loud."
Sheeran's surprise appearance was organized by Australian radio show Kyle & Jackie O, whose presenters helped organize the nuptials after the unemployed groom asked them to.
The 24-year-old singer snuck through the event's side door during the reception and belted out his popular love anthem for the newlyweds. He later shared a picture with the couple on Instagram.
During an interview with the KIIS 1065 show earlier this week Sheeran revealed that he split from his girlfriend Athina Andrelos following the Brit Awards in February.
Sheeran released his second studio album, x, in September 2011.
