Veronica Roth, 'Divergent' author, to write more books for Harper Collins

In the first of her two new novels "Roth explores -- with poise and poignancy -- the story of a boy who forms an unlikely alliance with an enemy."

NEW YORK, March 2 (UPI) -- Divergent series author Veronica Roth has inked a deal to write two more books for Harper Collins.

Roth, 26, made the announcement on Twitter, where she shared a link to a press release detailing her duology which will be "in the vein of Star Wars."

According to Harper Collins, in the first novel "Roth explores -- with poise and poignancy -- the story of a boy who forms an unlikely alliance with an enemy."

"Both desperate to escape their oppressive lives, they help each other attain what they most desire: for one, redemption, and the other, revenge."

"We are incredibly proud to publish the work of such a bright, young writer and are eager to embark on this next adventure in her extraordinary career," said Susan Katz, President of HarperCollins Children's Books.

Roth is best known for writing the New York Time best selling trilogy, Divergent, Insurgent, and Allegiant.
