LOS ANGELES, March 2 (UPI) -- Jaime King announced Taylor Swift as godmother to her unborn second child Sunday on Instagram.

The 35-year-old actress shared a photo with the 25-year-old singer as they lovingly look on at her baby bump. King and husband Kyle Newman are already parents to 1-year-old son James, and announced they are expecting again in February.

"And @taylorswift will forever be looking over our new baby @kyle_newman -we all love you!!! Xx," she captioned the picture. Swift herself shared a different snapshot with King, writing, "Guess who just got named Godmother of this little one..... (ME)."

"Taylor is just one of my closest, closest friends -- one of my dear, dear friends," King told E! News in October. "We just met and instantly had a connection. She is also another woman that I feel is one of the most authentic women we have in this industry that other women look up to."

King and Newman met on the set of Fanboys in 2005, and married in November 2007. The couple welcomed James in October 2013, and named actress Jessica Alba and actor Topher Grace as godparents to their son.
