LOS ANGELES, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- Kris Jenner is reportedly supporting ex-husband Bruce Jenner in the wake of his car crash.
Sources told People the 59-year-old reality star has emotionally comforted the 65-year-old former Olympian since the incident. Bruce Jenner was involved in a four-car wreck Feb. 7 in Malibu that left 69-year-old Kim Howe dead.
"They've cried together about this," an insider revealed. "She has told him that no matter what happens next, they're going to face it as a family. Bruce has Kris' full support. She'll be there for him to lean on every step of the way."
"She told him that if he needs anything, day or night, to call," the source added. "He has called her a few times, just to talk. She'll be there to listen any time he needs her." A family friend also told the magazine the Jenner-Kardashian children plan "to be there" for the patriarch.
Bruce Jenner is said to be "really devastated" about Howe's death, and previously expressed his sympathies in a statement. New footage from a bus surveillance video purportedly shows the reality star hitting two cars in the crash, but TMZ reports it is unlikely he will face manslaughter charges.
Kris and Bruce Jenner married in April 1991, and finalized their divorce in December 2014. The family will return on a 10th season of E! reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians on March 15, and Jenner has reportedly signed a new $100 million contract with the network.
