LOS ANGELES, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- A hearing where a Los Angeles prosecutor would determine whether actress Lindsay Lohan's community service certificate was valid was rescheduled on Wednesday.

Lohan's lawyer Shawn Holley told reporters outside the courtroom the hearing was postponed to next week because Chief Deputy City Attorney Terry White called in sick.

"The prosecutor submitted a number of questions to the community service organization and all of those answers have been provided so hopefully he's satisfied now," said Holley.

Las month White called for Wednesday's hearing after he determined the actress' community service with CSV Positive Futures needed to be evaluated. Lohan worked with the organization while living in London because she needed to fulfill a 240 hours community service requirement as part of a probation stemming from her arrest in 2012.

Her activities with the organization included meet and greets with impoverished children and shadowing sessions.

"It was absolutely real community service," her attorney told Acces Hollywood Wednesday. "The community served by [CSV] is a very impoverished population, primarily children, and these are children who would not ordinarily see a play, and she made arrangements for them to see not just a play but a West End play, and not just make arrangements, but provide for them to be there and meet key players, not just actors, but crew members, have meaningful dialogue with those people so that these kids might aspire to jobs in that field."

Lohan has reportedly continued to work with the organization and recently got Esurance to make a $10,000 donation for the company even though she's already fulfilled the requirement.
