NEW YORK, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- "Cause the hackers gonna hack, hack, hack, hack, hack," Taylor Swift told her 51 million Twitter followers on Tuesday, after hackers hijacked her Twitter and Instagram accounts.

Swift's followers first noticed something was awry when her account sent out tweets encouraging fans to follow @lizzard and @veriuser.

"@TaylorSwift13 to her 51 million fans, saying, "go follow my boy, @lizzard :)" read one post.

Twitter recovered Swift's account just 15 minutes later and shut down the two accounts mentioned in the tweets.

Swift thanked friend and Paramore Hayley Williams for alerting her to the hacking and wrote a message to fans on Tumblr:

My Twitter got hacked but don't worry, Twitter is deleting the hacker tweets and locking my account until they can figure out how this happened and get me new passwords. Never a dull moment.

But Lizard Squad, the group claiming responsibility for the hack, also threatened to release nude photos of the singer.

Swift fired back immediately, tweeting: "PS any hackers saying they have 'nudes'? Psssh you'd love that wouldn't you! Have fun photoshopping cause you got NOTHING."

Lizard Squad is also reportedly the group behind the PlayStation hack last year.
