Kate Middleton poorly Photoshopped on Australia's Woman's Day magazine

The magazine used a photo from Middleton's visit to the Kensington Aldridge Academy on Jan. 19 and altered her eyes to look lighter, added a reddish color to her lips and a fake sparkle to her right earring.

SYDNEY, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- The duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, fell victim to a bad Photoshop job on the latest cover of Australia's Woman's Day magazine.

The magazine used a photo from Middleton's visit to the Kensington Aldridge Academy on Jan. 19 and altered her eyes to look lighter, added a reddish color to her lips and a fake sparkle to her right earring.

This is perhaps one of the most unfaltering pictures of the 33-year-old royal, who often makes headlines for her impeccable style choices.

Sydney Morning Herald photo editor Daniel Adams told the Canberra Times the magazine's Photoshop fail was likely do to over retouching.

"They've overworked the image," said Adams. "They've tried to make it pop, make her sparkle. But it's given her a really hard look; it does not look normal."

While carrying out her social engagements on Jan. 19 Middleton said she didn't know the sex of her second child, and that it moves and kicks all the time. She and Prince William, the duke of Cambridge, are expecting the new baby in April. The couple welcomed their first child, Prince George, in July 2013.
