Toluca Lake home of Bob Hope for sale for $23 million

The home was last listed for sale for $27 million in 2013.

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 13 (UPI) -- The former home of Hollywood legend Bob Hope has been listed for sale for $23 million.

Located in Toluca Lake, the 15,000-square-foot home sits on 5.2 acres and features his-and-hers spas, a rose garden, indoor and outdoor pools, a 4,000-foot production office and even a two bedroom guest house.

Realtor Craig Strong, who represents the property, described it as "one of the most iconic and devotedly cared-for estates in Los Angeles, home to one of our most beloved entertainers," to the Los Angeles Daily News.

According to Variety, the swanky gated neighborhood's past residents include Amelia Earhart, W.C. Fields, Doris Day and Red Foxx and has seen housing stints from Steve Carell, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Miley Cyrus in recent years, to name only a few.

The home was last listed for sale for $27 million in 2013.
