Michelle Williams shuts down Beyonce's pregnancy rumors

NEW YORK, Jan. 13 (UPI) -- Former Destiny's Child singer Michelle Williams said on television Monday that Beyonce is not pregnant.

The "Crazy in Love" singer sparked rumors that she was expecting her second child with Jay Z over the weekend after sharing a photo of herself at the beach, covered in sand with a a baby bump.

"You know, when she was pregnant, people said that she wasn't pregnant and, you know, it's just no truth to it," Williams said while co-hosting The View. "Sorry!"

According to Williams, it should be obvious from the picture that the singer is not really pregnant.

"First of all, if you look at the picture, the baby bump is like where her knees probably really are so that's really, you know?" she noted.

Pregnancy rumors have followed Beyonce since last September when her husband changed the lyrics to one of his tracks during a performance to say something that sounded to concert-goers like "pregnant with another one." The couple never commented on the reports.
