Jeff Goldblum and Emilie Livingston expecting first child together

"She told me the day before we got married that she's pregnant," said the actor.

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Jurassic Park star Jeff Goldblum and his wife Emilie Livingston are expecting their first child together.

The actor, who married Livingston in November, revealed Livingston was three months pregnant during an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman Friday.

"She told me the day before we got married that she's pregnant," he said, adding, "It's a boy."

Asked about possible names for his future son, he said that "if it stays, our current thinking is Elliot Charlie."

Goldblum and Livingston were together for three years before tying the knot last year. The actor was previously married to Patricia Gaul from 1980 to 1986, and to Geena Davis from 1987 to 1990.

Goldblum is best known for his roles in The Fly and Jurassic Park and will next star opposite to Johnny Depp and Gwyneth Paltrow in Mortdecai in 2015.
