LOS ANGELES, Dec. 17 (UPI) -- Adrienne Bailon doesn't hold a grudge against the Kardashians.

The 31-year-old singer declared as much in an interview with E! News last week. Bailon incited Kim Kardashian's wrath earlier this year by telling Latina magazine her relationship with Rob Kardashian hurt her career, but the star insisted she didn't mean to offend with her comment.

"I think they're amazing people," she said of the Kardashians. "For more, I just didn't want to be known as anyone's girlfriend. That could have been anyone's girlfriend for that matter. I wanted to be for the hard work I've been doing since I was 15 years old."

Bailon and Rob Kardashian were together for two years before they broke up amid rumors he had been unfaithful in 2009. The former Disney star started dating Def Jam executive Lenny Santiago shortly after, and declared she and her beau are in "a great, strong place" in July.

Bailon came to fame as a member of girl groups 3LW and The Cheetah Girls. She starred in several Cheetah Girls movies for Disney, and also appeared in Lovestruck: The Musical and I'm in Love with a Church Girl. She currently co-hosts daytime talk show The Real.
