'AHS' star Jyoti Amge dislikes being treated like a baby

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 26 (UPI) -- Jyoti Amge may be small, but she is nobody's baby.

The 20-year-old American Horror Story: Freak Show actress opened up in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. Amge holds the Guinness World Record for the world's smallest woman at 23 inches tall, and said she dislikes when fans treat her differently because of her height.

"When people see me on TV, they become very happy because they don't have to interact with me," she related. "When they start interacting with me they ask me questions like I'm a baby or treat me like I'm a baby and hold me like I'm a baby, and that's what they do wrong, really."

Amge came to fame as Ma Petite on season four of the FX series, but the character met her demise on last week's episode. The actress enjoyed her time on the program, and there is a possibility she may reappear on the show.

American Horror Story: Freak Show debuted in October, and airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET. The season is set in Jupiter, Fla., in 1952, and follows freak show manager Elsa Mars (Jessica Lange) and her performers.
