NEW YORK, Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Saturday Night Live addressed renewed sexual assault allegations against Bill Cosby during Weekend Update, with anchor Michael Che taking a cue from one of the 77-year-old comedian's most famous rebukes.

"Hey Bill Cosby, pull your damn pants up," Che said, to groans from the audience. "I've always wanted to say that."

Che went on to express mixed feelings about separating Cosby from his television persona, amiable and beloved father figure Cliff Huxtable.

"I don't know how to feel about that because I don't know Bill Cosby, but Cliff Huxtable practically raised me," Che said. "I love that dude, and the only thing he ever tried to sneak while people were asleep is a hoagie."

"So while I may never forgive Bill Cosby, hopefully someday I can forgive Dr. Huxtable. I mean, I know it's not the same thing, but I forgave Kramer," he added with a sardonic look, referencing former Seinfeld star Michael Richard's n-word rant.
