LOS ANGELES, Nov. 24 (UPI) -- Demi Lovato says she and Miley Cyrus are no longer friends.

The 22-year-old singer discussed her former pal in an interview Monday on The TJ Show. Lovato and Cyrus are both Disney alums and were close for a time, but drifted apart due to different lifestyles.

"Umm, yeah... that. We're like, acquaintances," she admitted. "Yeah, it's life and people change. And you know, I don't have anything in common with her anymore, and I wish her all the best."

Lovato portrayed Mitchie Torres in Disney film Camp Rock and Sonny Munroe on sitcom Sonny with a Chance, while Cyrus starred as the title character on Hannah Montana. Both also pursued careers in music, and released their debut albums in 2008 and 2007, respectively.

Lovato was treated for bulimia and drug and alcohol abuse in 2010, and is currently sober. Cyrus, meanwhile, has earned a reputation for partying and wild onstage antics. Both women achieved success as singers, and debuted new albums, Demi and Bangerz, in 2013.
