"The Duggar Family is under attack from anti-marriage advocates standing for traditional marriage," the document reads. "We commend the Duggar Family for their brave stand in defending marriage as ordained by God between one man and one woman. No individual's sexual behavior and chosen lifestyle has the right to define marriage."

Michelle Duggar has been under fire from the LGBT community for reportedly deleting photos of same-sex couples from her Facebook kissing post and recording a robocall perceived as anti-transgender in August. A Change.org petition to have 19 Kids & Counting canceled gained momentum this week, and has collected over 135,000 signatures.

The Duggar family has starred on the TLC reality series since 2008. The program documents the day-to-day lives of devout Independent Baptists Jim Bob, Michelle and their 19 children, whose ages range from 4 to 26.
