TONTITOWN, Ark., Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Michelle Duggar is under fire from the LGBT community.

The 48-year-old reality star caused controversy by reportedly deleting photos of same-sex couples from her Facebook kissing post. Duggar asked fans to submit pictures of themselves mimicking her smooch with husband Jim Bob, but selectively removed several snapshots submitted.

A Change.org petition calling for the Duggars' reality show, 19 Kids & Counting, to be canceled by TLC subsequently gained momentum this week. Over 90,000 people have signed the appeal to end the family's alleged "discrimination, hate, and fear-mongering against gays and transgendered people."

Jim Wissick started the petition after Duggar reportedly recorded a robocall message for Fayetteville, Ark., in August. The reality star warned residents of a city council vote to allow transgendered citizens into women's restrooms and locker rooms, and declared such people "males with past predator convictions that claim they are female."

The Duggar family has starred on 19 Kids & Counting on TLC since 2008. The program documents the day-to-day lives of devout Independent Baptists Jim Bob, Michelle and their 19 children, whose ages range from 4 to 26.
