Kaia Gerber stuns in photo spread for Teen Vogue

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Kaia Gerber stars in a photo spread for the December/January issue of Teen Vogue.

The 13-year-old daughter of model Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber landed her first magazine shoot with the publication. Gerber sports a casual denim ensemble in the pictures, and bears a striking resemblance to her famous mother.

"I've seen my mom do it, and it seems exhausting," the teenager admitted in the interview. "It's not easy -- you're in heels all the time and constantly having to dress up. If that's your job, jeans and a t-shirt are all you really dream of."

"She doesn't want me to start a career too young," she said of Crawford. "She started modeling when she was 16, but that world is very different now ... She knows so much about it. I think it would be hard for her to be on set and not say things like, 'Psst, Kaia, put your elbow up.'"

Gerber previously appeared in an ad campaign for Young Versace at age 10 in 2012. The burgeoning model often poses for photographs for brother Presley Gerber, but told the magazine she would prefer to pursue a career in acting.
