TORONTO, Nov. 10 (UPI) -- Amy Jo Johnson made good on a promise this weekend to don her pink Power Ranger suit and sing in downtown Toronto after her new film reached its funding goal on IndieGogo.com.

The 1990s kids television star has been campaigning hard online for her new film, The Space Between, in which she directs and acts.

Former Power Rangers castmate David Yost — the blue ranger — upped the ante recently, when he challenged Johnson to throw on her old Power Ranger suit and sing on the streets of Toronto if she reached her $75,000 goal to fund the movie a week early.

The Space Between reached that goal by Thursday and on Friday, Johnson took to the streets.

At least one fan was able to shoot a quick video of the performance, for which Johnson had accompaniment in the form of Batman.
