Adrienne Bailon addresses Chris Brown feud

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Adrienne Bailon says she and Tamar Braxton did not say anything bad about Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran.

The 31-year-old and 37-year-old The Real hosts incited the 25-year-old singer's ire by discussing his relationship with Karrueche Tran on Monday's episode. Bailon and Braxton expressed concern over the couple's on and off status, which caused Brown to swear at and insult the pair on Instagram.

"Who said anything bad about her?" Bailon responded on Instagram. "I actually know her... We're cool. The conversation was generally speaking of anyone who may 'possibly' be in a bad relationship. Please don't start drama that doesn't EXIST. If she's happy... So am I."

Brown followed up his now-deleted rant with another post Tuesday on Instagram. The rapper acknowledged his comments were "amusing to some and disrespectful to others," and declared the entire situation "childish."

"I could've been more politically correct and went about the situation more civilised but I'm not fake nor do I need to ever comment on anyone's life," he asserted. "The show was depicting relationships. They gave their views on my relationship by bashing my significant other for being with me publicly on national television ... So this isn't an apology for yesterday."

Brown and Tran have been an on and off couple since 2011, and the singer has previously ended the relationship due to his lingering feelings for ex-girlfriend Rihanna. Tran tearfully admitted to struggling with the love triangle in July, and said the public eye makes the situation harder.
