Lea Michele makes first public appearance with Matthew Paetz at amfAR gala

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 31 (UPI) -- Glee star Lea Michele made her first public appearance alongside her new boyfriend Matthew Paetz during Wednesday's amfAR Inspiration Gala in LA.

While Michele walked the event's red carpet alone, the new couple was photographed "cuddled up" at their table and talking to Glee creator Ryan Murphy during the event.

Rumors that the actress was dating Paetz, a former gigolo according to reports, began in June. The actress hasn't publicly confirmed the relationship, but the couple has been photographed kissing, traveling together and going for hikes since the reports began.

Michele and Paetz reportedly met on the set of Michele's music video for "On My Way."
