China Fashion Week opens with NE TIGER runway show

China Fashion Week kicks off with the NE TIGER haute couture collection.

BEIJING, Oct. 25 (UPI) -- Mercedes-Benz China Fashion Week kicked off Saturday with a colorful runway show for the NE TIGER haute couture collection.

The show, which hinted at traditional Chinese fashion, was held at the Banquet Hall in the Beijing Hotel.

Rounding out the rest of Day 1 are runway shows for Beautyberry Wang Yutau's men's collection and the La pargay Lai Rui collection.

Things will start back up again on Sunday with the Rabbit-Warm Zhuang Ganran and Kopenhagen fur collections, among several others.

Fashion week concludes Nov. 2 with an award ceremony.
