LONDON, Oct. 24 (UPI) -- The duchess of Cambridge's sister Pippa Middleton unveiled her diet and exercise habits in a new column for Britain's Waitrose Weekend magazine.

"I grew up with the belief that good health is about moderation in all things, so I'll be celebrating healthy living through exercise, a balanced diet and a little of the naughty stuff sprinkled in -- I'm talking chocolate, crisps and the occasional glass of wine," Middleton wrote in her first Mind and Body column for the lifestyle publication.

"I've never done Dukan, attempted Atkins or exercised religiously seven days a week, but I do believe in making healthy choices -- keeping refined carbs such as white bread and pasta to a minimum, and sticking to sensible portion sizes," she continued.

The British socialite later shared a 30-minute workout routine that, according to her, makes a real difference if performed three times a week. Middleton's routine consists on four exercises: ladders, plie squats, wall pushes and the classic plank. All quick and easy ways to tone the body, per Middleton.

The 31-year-old party planner rose to fame in 2011 after her toned figure caught the public's eye during her sister, Kate Middleton's wedding to Prince William. While speaking of the tight-fitting Alexander McQueen dress in February, Middleton said she was "glad it fitted," but admitted that "in retrospect it fitted a little too well."
