Joe Jonas just a friend, says Gigi Hadid

NEW YORK, Oct. 23 (UPI) -- Gigi Hadid says Joe Jonas is just a friend.

The 19-year-old model and 25-year-old singer have frequently been spotted together in the past few months, but Hadid told E! News her relationship with Jonas stops at friends.

"All the brothers are amazing, but I'm closest with Joe," she shared. "He is a really good friend of mine."

"It's just really hilarious for us," she said of the dating rumors. "We will read it and we will be like, 'Oh, we're dating. Oh, cool.' We just laugh it off. It's funny for us."

Hadid told the website she and Jonas share a love of fashion and always see each other at New York Fashion Week. When the singer makes it to New York, the pair make an effort to see each other "as much as [they] can."

Jonas previously dated Taylor Swift, Camilla Belle, Demi Lovato and Ashley Greene. He was last involved with model Blanda Eggenschwiler, but the couple broke up in August.
