Tori Spelling hospitalized for possible pneumonia

Insiders say Spelling was coughing so intensely that she lost consciousness.

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Tori Spelling was rushed to the the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA Saturday after the reality star began suffering from a severe cough attack.

Sources told Us Weekly Spelling was coughing so intensely that she lost consciousness. She was admitted to the hospital for severe bronchitis and possible pneumonia later that day and is expected to remain in the hospital for the rest of the week.

Spelling's husband, Dean McDermott, was by her side at the time of her hospitalization.

The 41-year-old actress was forced to cancel one appearance to promote the second season of her reality show True Tori because of the illness. The show is scheduled to premier Tuesday on Lifetime and Spelling is expected to clarify rumors that she's pregnant during the first episode.
