Elliott took to Twitter after the show share a photo of her new self and to thank Wang and the clothing retailer for the opportunity.

"Just got off stage thanks @ALEXANDERWANGNY and @hmusa for having me perform I enjoyed," Elliott tweeted.

Elliott, who has remained out of the spotlight since the release of her last album in 2005, has addressed her battle with Grave's disease in the past. The autoimmune disease, also known as hyperthyroidism, leads to overactivity of the thyroid gland and can cause nervousness, excessive sweating, weight loss and palpitations.

The rapper told Us Weekly in 2011 she was "managing the condition through diet and exercise."
