LOS ANGELES, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Kris Jenner says she wants Bruce Jenner to be happy.

The 58-year-old reality star addressed her ex-husband's rumored new relationship with her best friend, Ronda Kamihira, in an interview Monday on Today. Jenner did not mention Kamihira by name, but told host Hoda Kotb she wishes Bruce the best in his future relationships.

"I just want him to be happy," she shared. "I don't care who he goes out with. And I don't know who he's dating -- he doesn't, like, check in with me and give me a play-by-play -- but it's his life, and you just want the guy to be happy."

Kris and Bruce Jenner married in 1991, and have two daughters together, Kendall and Kylie. The couple announced their separation in October 2013, and Kris officially filed for divorce September 22.

"I think that at some point in your life, you have to make a decision to do what's right for, you know, your family and the kids," she said of the divorce. "And we decided to be grownups... and we decided we're just better apart than we are together, but we're still really good friends."
